It's like whenever someone tries to talk people shut him up with "NO ADVERTISING".
as Hikaru is still stuck in Poland, wanted to post about his favorite openings.
I call this the "Hikaru system", because he plays it all the time.
The arrows are for his "Ops" the bishops lurking in the "fianchetto" mode. It is not a hippopotamus because hippo would be a6-b6,Bb7 and h6,g6,Bg7. Hikaru goes b7-b5.
The official name is "the modern defense" but this specific g6 and a6-b5-Bb7 has no name, here's the Hikaru Variation of the modern defense, or the Hikaru system.
