I wish every tournament had that
How to get chess.com to run the anti-cheating algorithm on a tournament?

Many here at this site KNOWS the anti-cheating algorithm used by chess.com is lax....way too lax. I and MANY others would join USCF and play rated tournaments here if an algorithm was used that wasn't near as lax.....for instance the one that is used at a very popular chess site. If this would be done and made public to all chess.com Members, HUNDREDS, perhaps THOUSANDS or Members would join the USCF and USChess and PLAY PLAY and PLAY...and have a GREAT WONDERFUL time playing USCF rated Online Tournaments!!!

Many are not going to play in USChess rated online Tournaments while the algorithm used at this site is in place. When that changes, please let the chess.com Members know! Lodging complaints when we know someone is cheating, only to see that they got buy with doing so is bull.

I'm probably off topic.......all I'm saying is that USChess would be HUGE if the USCF Online tournaments used an algorithm that was very tight. If one was used, perhaps a statement could be giving explaining that the cheat algorithm which would used is much tighter than the one used at this site.

UNFORTUNATELY, MANY BENEFIT NOT IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE BUT IN ALGORITHMS URGENT TO INTRODUCE PROGRAMS AGAINST CHEATING AND SEVERE SANCTIONS FOR SUCH PERSONS

@soko0904 Exactly. The excellent algorithms are out there....just not being used here. That is why for USChess, a much better one at catching cheats should be used. And if one is to be used, give a statement of this fact prior to one becoming a Member of USChess, eliminating the possibility of liability. Once all Members of chess.com knows that, this site and the USCF would benefit greatly!

There are people who claim that Chess.com has the Best anti cheating detection available. They have the most players therefore there is going to be more cheating occuring because of the number of live games.

I don't expect the algorithm to be perfect. This is hard work, and you always are weighing the risk of missing a cheater against the risk of unfair accusation. For my purposes, I want to run an algorithm that mostly minimizes the risk of unfair accusation, and combine it with Zoom monitoring. Defense in depth.

I only played one online uschess tournament because I suspected one of my opponents cheating and nothing was done about it.

I would support such an algorithm. Of course, it would not be perfect, chess is a game for people who enjoy mental exercise, and cheaters here will be intelligent. But the overwhelmingly vast majority of us are honest and abhor cheaters. So if we can catch even a few of these people, let us do it.

I think it runs secretly in the background. I get messages that they close people's account and the ratings are adjusted, but it's normally a week or two after the account is locked. So maybe everything is done in the background or you can send an email to chess.com support for help.
I believe the help and ask a question in the lower left of the browser should help.

wait, people can cheat in an online chess site? Lol im so dumb, how didn't i know that.
yeah they use stockfish or another engine

The site just suggests waiting 72 hours for checks to be done but you could open a ticket with support to ask.

We are planning to run a USChess rated tournament on chess.com. I would like to run chess.com's anti-cheating algorithm on all games in the tournament, without accusing anyone of cheating. Is there a way to do this?
