1. ender pearls can be thrown into the soul soil bubble elevator, which keeps the ender pearl from touching anything. it is suspended in the water. then, due to a redstone imput, it activates a trapdoor on the top of the bubble elevator, where the ender pearl is at. this causes the owner of the ender pearl to have an instant teleport to the location he prepared in advance because of a redstone imput. it can be things like daylight sensors to tp you back when it gets dark, or simply a switch back at home operated by a friend when you go out to raid a dangerous base.

my personal favorite use for it, (although not very useful) is to get a pet dog sit on the pressure plate which is hooked up to the stasis chamber. place this right next to your wall. now, if someone places tnt behind the wall or shoots a cannon at it, the dog will take damage, teleport to you(off the pressure plate) and activate the stasis chamber allowing you to instantly react to someone griefing your base

Be sure to aim straight down, or else you would hit the side of the chamber and teleport there

Also, you use phantom membranes to repair elytra and diamonds to repair diamond tools/armor. How do you repair bows using this method?

how have to use other bows

there's no other way unless you have mending and exp grind
