So, if you are 2000 rated in rapid, you don't get fide unless you play against a fide rated player and at least draw one match or win all games.

bahanovych

fide also has a blitz/rapid/standard rating.

there is generally 300-400 elo difference in each time control category.

2000 rapid chesscom prolly 1600 rapid otb if you start playing tournaments

It depends on where you live and what your skill set is. You probably aren't used to 3-5 hour games, so you would probably be a 1300 fide player. If you lived in the US, it would be lower because people in the US are all under-rated because of USCF being the primary rating.

If you are 2000 chess.com (rapid) and you don't have a fide then your fide is.... you don't have a fide.

They're totally different games with a whole different set of factors and skills involved. They cannot be compared and there's no formula to give you one from the other.

Im 2050~ chess.com rapid and 1680 uscf so id say somewhere in the 1600 range fide would probably be the same

Chaitanya_2600

actually if you dont play like hours and still have 2000 chess.com rating and a higher skillset, you are more likely tho have a 1700 - 1800 fide
