Hi everyone! I am new to the club and look forward to playing for the team. My name is Peter, and I am from Massachusetts. I'm a huge chess fan. I recently joined Magnetus Chess to help making the first self-adjusting chess sets in the world. Please visit our website at www.magnetuschess.com to have a look at the one-of-a-kind sets.

We make these self-adjusting chess sets by placing strong magnets in the pieces and in the center of each square. I believe self-adjusting chess sets will be widely adopted by chess players and blitz tournament organizers. These sets make it much more comfortable for the players to play and analyze chess and also much more enjoyable for the viewers to follow blitz games. As you can see in the bullet game video below, the players can play very fast and still have all the pieces centered on the squares throughout the entire game, and none of the pieces fell.

If you are interested in purchasing one set, I am offering a 25% discount to members of this club with the coupon "TEAMUSA25"

I would love to hear your opinion!

Without watching the video, it seems like pieces will get stuck on squares if you slide the pieces when you move

Seriously?  Are you aware of what is happening to billions of people?  And you are selling magnetic chess boards?  You are an asshole of epic proportions!!

Kuya9ie

I don’t think he means harm to anyone, just like how others are having income via internet, streaming etc. He is just maybe, honestly trying to make extra cash.

@choirbrown: Would you have everyone drop what they are doing and immediately enter the medical, grocery, or farming industries? If we do not, are we also deserving of your wrath?

You seem to be logging into a Chess website on a regular basis. Are you aware of what is happening around the world? And you are playing Chess online?

Perhaps, to explore another perspective, the OP deserves to be lauded for trying to do his part to keep the economy alive. So, yes, he's selling magnetic chessboards. What about it?

You lambasted a teammate. Consider yourself warned. An enormous apology is in order.

Yes, sliding pieces in a magnetic set is not recommended! Anyway, I don't remember ever moving my pieces by sliding them. I've always moved a piece from the original square to its destination square.

IMHO these pieces are not ready for prime time, need more detail

Thanks for the feedback. The design of the pieces is a modern style choice. The smooth curves facilitate de-molding

I feel like the speed people are playing at in the video makes it look very proffessional.
