Sounds like a visual glitch, 99% of the time reloading the page will solve these when they occur.
BTW, Even if you somehow found the game where this happened it is probably going to look completely normal on game review....
Mid-game the other day, I pre-moved Rook d1 to h1 , when opponent made a different move that would not allow rook d1 to h1 my rook disappeared. The rook was there, but just not visible.
