FFA, Capture the king, 2-player, 5-check

Time Control: 2|7

Alt. Time control (not in testing games) 3|5 (@Beans_R_Kewl gave me the idea for this since he kept flagging (see games 9 and 10))

Pawns promote to 1pt. Queen, Queen, Amazon, Grasshopper, Camel, Wildebeest, Alibaba-Rider, Knight-Rider on 8th Rank

Strategy: The power of Knight-Riders, Camels, Wildebeests, and Grasshoppers increase in this game because they are so tricky. Wildebeests can deliver 5 checks easily in the endgame. (see game 5). Pawns are very vulnerable, and probably aren't even worth a full point. You have to be aware of if your king is in check.

Tip: Watch your time! (see games 9 and 10)

PLEASE MAKE WALLS TRANSPARENT!

Looks fine to me.

Because I want to make every piece in the game an option. Think of it this way: in regular chess, you can promote to any piece in the game except pawns/kings, but everyone just promotes to queens (most of the time)

plus, a way to trade pawns is to promote to 1-pt. Queen and force them to take it.

Hey there!
The main things we found here were that there was a piece spam, and the ability to turtle with one's pieces made the game dull. Another thing was the excess of promotion options: usually positions that allow a promotion to (almost) every piece become too chaotic. We appreciate your effort on this position, and we're looking forward to seeing your future creations.

can you rephrase "piece spam" and "ability to turtle"? I don't really know what it means.

BoxJellyfishChess

Piece spam generally refers to when a position is supersaturated with pieces. In other words, some of the pieces might be doing nothing, or there might be too many pieces and not all of them will ever be used in a normal game.

Turtling generally refers to either being an organism of the order Chelonia or Testudines, or playing extremely passively and getting a draw by doing nothing. In most positions, turtling is counterproductive, but in some positions, especially those with piece spam, have high effectiveness for turtling, which makes games less interesting.
