New enchantment confusion

1.19 is out (yay!) and it has a new enchantment: swift sneak. (go fact check it idk if thats the correct name) It makes you crouch faster. But what doesn't really make sense to me that it's a LEGGINGS enchantment. Previous enchantments such as soul speed or depth strider are on boots because it makes you move faster on a certain condition. This is the exact same BUT ITS ON LEGGINGS.

I think one of the main reasons it's in the game in the first place is so that leggings can have their own unique enchantment.

the reason for this is because two mutually exclusive(cant have both at the same time) enchantments already exists for boots. these enchants are depth strider and frost walker. you can only have one but not the other. this new enchantment was intended for boots, but was going to be mutually exclusive with frost walker and depth strider, but people wanted to be able to have both it and one of the other ones, so they changed it to a leggings enchant

The comments above make sense, and also yay for faster speedbridging! Because people totally speedbridge in 1.19.....

Now sneakbridge is as fast as old speedbridge

Nah but the wither has to be spawned, but the warden can be spawned without wanting it

But is there any reason you can't just avoid going to a Deep Dark biome?
