if your reviewing as white, it might be reviewing your opponents moves
if you opponent prefered to play 1. c3 maybe that would be the reason why

@Hydrahta Good point. But I already checked this. Even my opponent did not play the opening that often. What I did also check is, if there might be some transposition form the Inidan Defense. But this is also not the case.
No problem. Maybe a moderator will have time to respond.
One more thing to mention is, that I have seen something similar before. I played the Grob opening with 1.g4 in Bullet to get the achievement. Then the game review claimed that I have played it multiple times before.
Yes, I will say, these stats are *seriously* messed up.
I literally played the Veresov for the first time this morning after reading the intro to a book about it. Then I looked at the review and what it said for how many times I've played the opening in the past.
I can absolutely 100% guarantee I have not played this opening nearly 2000 times. No way is that true. 1.d4, maybe, but not the full Veresov opening. I wonder if it's generating stats off of an earlier move (such as 1.d4) instead of basing it off of the full variation.
It is definitely bugged. Or, at the very least, misleading.
(BTW: if I click on the '1922' link, it brings me to a page where a single past game of mine is displayed. )
(Sorry if anyone saw a series of duplicate posts. I wasn't intentionally spamming, it looked like my post did not initially go through, and then I got a series of 502 website errors. But, that's a whole other issue )
Transpositions
I can guarantee, without any doubt, that I have not played 1922 games that have transposed in to this position.
I played a Bullet game, where my opponent opened with 1.c3, the Saragossa opening. The game review claims, that I have played this opening 51 times with a win rate of 59%. You can see this below.
The game review for the game is here:
https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/66874758037?tab=review
The problem is, that I have not played this opening 51 times. As White, I never played it and as Black I faced it twice in all time formats combined. The numbers shown in the game review do not add up.
Can someone explain, where those numbers come from? At this point, I can only assume this is a bug.
