Partnering: FML

With 2 moves into the game completed, my so-called "partner" decides to let the clock run-down and lose the game because he wants to disconnect, costing me 15 rating points.  This is an issue that has to be dealt with, this fool claimed he want FFA, regardless of an excuse, such members should have disconnects tracked and at minimum barred from 4PC or similar variations and parts (Live, Daily, etc) throughout chess.com.  At worse they should be banned if they chronically abandon games as MANY have on Live Chess!  Why should one take a hit because of an individual?! -Absurd!!

Very true, this issue needs to b dealt with.

There is a bug currently. I wanted to play Teams, but appeared in FFA, same with @svit_igor :

Your "partner" appeared in Teams instead of FFA.

I'm thinking this is an issue while restarting the server. I've tested several times and this hasn't happened to me. If it's happened recently I would love to know.

This happen around the time opened this thread/the original post.  Did you or someone else try replicating the purported bug?  I still state bug or not this a rampant issue that CANNOT always be related to a bug than poor sportsmanship on the individual who should be banned from that area of the website or even banned via IP address of the entire website.

Time now is 4:55 PM EST @battleMind24 I can confirm that in my last game, a few minutes back my teammate had the bug but this also a problem as I mentioned.

I feel for you, it's both a bug and bad sportsmanship by the member bowing out with no concern of their teammate.  So I can't stand to listen to staff just justify it as a bug as it's a 2-part issue with the same outcome.

This shouldn't happen anymore, let me know if it does.
