"Pause & Reset" feature for "Face to Face" mode

I will say this method isn't working for me every time when playing over the board, no matter how many moves back i try to replay. I'll keep trying it out, curious does no one else experience and did this video help you from ever facing this issue again? Perhaps its fixable while playing a computer but not when playing face to face mode?

@KenyGrey While playing in Face-to-Face mode, I found that looking at the board on the app and placing the chessmen back to that exact position was the easiest to reset. My opponent and I would work out what the order of moves were and go one by one watching to make sure the light would be green for each move.
Sometimes the chessmen need to be neatly in the center of a square to be registered or gently pressed on the square.
Hope that helps!

I've done exactly that to no avail. Unfortunately the clock usually runs far too long for it to be worth anything if it eventually did work. A pause functionality would still be very useful

@KenyGrey Maybe your app &/or firmware needs to be updated.
Ugh, I was wrong, there isn't a reset or undo function in the resign/draw menu. Lately, I've been using the face-to-face option and my opponent's moves were not recorded properly due to sliding as well. It was frustrating not to be able to simply undo moves...
Hopefully, this will be solved by SOP soon!
I really wish SquareOff would introduce a "pause & reset" functionality/feature for "Face to Face" mode.
Lately I have been taking my SOP board to various chess clubs and playing against other club goers using the face to face feature that the SOP board offers. I always warn my new friends and opponents that you have to be careful to lift and place each piece when making your move. Despite the warnings and everyone's best attempt to follow that protocol, it almost goes without fail that eventually my OTB colleagues will forget they need to do this and they will start sliding the pieces. As we all know SOP hates sliders. Most of the time my opponents are able to get away with it (the board still reading their move) however, without fail, the board eventually bugs out and the lights will bug out. To which we try to quickly reset the board as the clock is still ticking, most the time not able to figure out how to reset it without it continually beeping at us, effectively wasting all effort in using the SOP face to face feature. It's such a mess. Perhaps I am not resetting the board properly, but I swear the board sometimes just does not allow you to fix the pieces. It's like it gets stuck blinking and beeping despite all efforts to correct the board pieces (replaying the move, resetting the pieces in different orders, etc) and then the clock just runs down and inevitably we convert to the low tech old school methods.
My suggestion, in short: Either fix this bug that makes it so difficult to reset the pieces. Or just offer a way to pause the game and reset the pieces and continue.
Anyone else having trouble with face to face mode?
Edit: even if my opponents do remain careful throughout the game, while making a move, the magnetic pull of the pieces sometimes randomly repel or pull an untouched piece off of its square and we are left with the same limbo lights blinking/beeping outcome.
