1.Nf3 c5 2.b3 d5 3.c4 dxc4
The Regina Nu Gambits all have this basic shape. White does not
capture the pawn but chooses a developing move instead.
4.Nc3
4.e3 Can be used here.
4...cxb3 5.e4***
5...bxa2 6.Bc4
White has given up three pawns, but one will be regained and there is a lot of development.
6...Nd7 7.O-O Nb6 8.Bxf7+ Far too optimistic.
8...Kxf7 9.Ne5+ Ke6
9...Ke8 10.Qh5+ g6 11.Nxg6 Nf6 12.Qh4 Rg8 13.Nxf8 Rxf8 and Black is way ahead.
10.d4 cxd4 11.Qg4+ Kxe5 12.Qf4+ Ke6 13.Qf5+ Kd6 14.Ba3+
14.Bf4+ was considered, but that's the wrong approach!
14...Kc6
14...Kc7 Leads to a cute mate. 15.Nb5+ Kb8 16.Qf4+ Qd6 17.Nxd6
exd6 18.Qxd6+ Bxd6 19.Bxd6#
15.Qc5+ Kd7 16.Qb5+ Kc7
16...Ke6 17.Qf5#
17.Qe5+ Kd7 18.Qb5+
is a forced draw.
