The SCC Chess Club will once again host a USCF rated rapid tournament on Wednesday September 4th from 6-9 p.m. in room T106 of the main building on SCC's 8800 O Street Lincoln campus.
Notice that this is a new room. If you enter through the main, south, doors (culinary academy to your left and health building to your right), proceed down the hall past Course Ground Coffee and the information kiosk until you reach a perpendicular hallway. At that point turn right, and not long thereafter turn left down the corridor before the sign welcoming you into the U section (a sign will guide you down this corridor). T106 is at the end of this corridor.
If you want to play chess at the club but don't want to participate in the rated event, join us the following week, Wednesday September 11th.
Registration is from 6-6:30. There is a $5 entry fee, waived for SCC students. You must be a member of the USCF in order to play in the tournament. Bring a clock if you have one.
