Thanks to Lars (http://www.solanosoft.com/index.php?page=bearchess) I have been able to fix the problem with going straight to a custom position after turning on the board. So that issue no longer exists and I have updated to version 1.1

I forgot to post an update here! The driver can now also be used in Fritz and ChessBase provided you have the 64 bit versions (Fritz 15 and ChessBase 13 onwards). Of course you also need a PC that supports Bluetooth to connect to the SOP.
I found another laptop that does have BTLE. I installed all of the MS resdistributable and SOP drivers, both 86 and 64.
Fritz 15: I clicked on Fritz 15, clicked the DGT board checkbox, and your driver window came up. It said "searching" for about 5 seconds then Fritz shut down. I tried it twice.
Arena: Clicked on DGT and your driver window came up. It stays on "searching for board" -- it's been about 5 minutes now.
So I think it's either the driver or maybe the BT on that laptop. I'll order the TPLink to see if it is more successful.
Another thing you can try is to search for the board using the BLE tab on my ComPorts program to see if that finds the board.
Graham. I installed your SquarePro driver on a Windows 10 system and it worked well. THen I installed it on a Windows 11 system and it worked great. I purchased a new Windows 11 system and I am getting an error accessing the Bluetooth LE. I cannot find anything on the net telling me why I cannot access the the Bluetooth LE. I did see 4 generic LE and a Microsoft LE.
Any thoughts about what I should try would be appreciated.

Using Gerhard Kalab's excellent work (Chess Dojo app) I have now released the first version of my Square Off Pro driver:
https://goneill.co.nz/chess.php#squareoff
This will run in Arena, LucasChess and Shredder in Windows (version 10 or later), but not currently in Linux. I have sent it to Lucas for inclusion in LucasChess so I'm sure the next version (2.01b or 2.02 or...) will include it.
It works slightly differently to my other drivers:
Please read the manual for more details.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
