The server

I think everybody has noticed how instable the new server is. Since the merge 4p has become a lottery. I lost something 20 games since because of that and it's very unfair. I've just lost one, where I had 54 sec. left (!!!) and I flagged (me, who very seldom flag even in bullet), i.e. I'll certainly be 4th (and lose a lot of points) whereas I was clearly winning this game.

It's definitely unfair and quite frustrating.

I would like to know what is being done to address this issue; Space wrote that they know about the problem, Ok, nice. But it's 100,0000% due to the merge and move to the new server. Is it a big deal then to identify what is the problem, and in the meantime move to the previous solution, with a separate 4p server, like before the merge?

And AGAIN, 2nd time today. (Not 2nd disconnection! THIS happens between 20 and 40 times per day... But 2nd game lost despite the fact I was winning and had plenty of time. I mean, to flag because of the server if you have 3-5 sec. left is one thing, you say to yourself "s. happens", but if you have 54 sec., you're winning and then you flag because of the server and finish instead 4th and lose 30 pts, you just want to kill everybody).

I lost not "any" but MANY games like that "in the last 10 hours". But in some it was not clear that I was winning. In 2 though it was extremely unpleasant (yes I didn't lose a lot of points, and in the 2nd game I even earned some):

Do not waste your time with refunds, right? The problem is not points but the frustration to lose when you're winning.

Game #26432328 for me, and that was the second time this morning/today that all four players were disconnected.  Been a problem for way too long now.

No, it is NOT my computer. Because many players have disconnected as well (and sometimes several times) in my most recent games.

I've just had it AGAIN. I had 28 sec. so could eventually win (1.2 sec. before the end!!!). But well, I do not need such thrill guys. I want to play normal games like before.

You speak about the LAG, which is compensated yes. (And yes, over the last 2 weeks we've seen a lot of lag). I am speaking about abrupt DISCONNECTIONS.

I'm having this issue as well, probably just have to accept the unstable server, its one of those things that just can't be done right away.

https://www.chess.com/variants/4-player-chess/game/26438629 for example, I did win, but everyone disconnected more than once in a single game, just like @Independenza says, but in particular these disconnects were In the same MINUTE. They were separated by a span of a few seconds.

I completely agree, posts like his are un-needed and just are a waste of space. At that point there was no purpose in saying anything if it wasn't helping.
