I'm just reading the collected interviews of ol' Tom (I really like his music), and he says in one of the article, that his favorite guitar is Gretsch New Yorker. I've never heard about that guitar (i live in the other side of the world anyway) so I searched up the web to find it, and it wasn't too hard at all. It is a nice guitar with a beautiful female-shaped body.
By the way, he uses Fender amplifiers - and I use a Fender combo box - I'm getting to be proud
