this is prob just a bug, either that or the emoji pack they used for beta is incorrect, i'll try finding what emoji pack this could be from.
no matching results on emojipedia, so this is either: A, a bug, B, flipped upside down due to recent things, C, someone on the chess.com flag/emoji management team decided to troll everyone who was using beta. (most likely option A)

Pretty sure most of them have bigger issues on their mind right now. Unimportant things ... like staying alive.

also at this point i think cc should bring the russian flag back
we still can support ukraine but why are we punishing innocent russian players who have nothing to do with the war

I wonder if the fact that the Palestine Liberation Organization used this upside down version in 1968 for a short period plays any role here.
Anyhow, Chess.com really should take this bug report serious, could quickly become a PR disaster of some sorts.
