What do I do with my gems?

I currently have 125 gems in clash royale and I am F2P at 5010 trophies with lava loon, My king level is at 11 and I am halfway to level 12. 90 percent of my cards are at level 10+ and a few at level 9. (some trash cards at level 8 but idc).

Morten says that it is best to spend gems on Grand Challenges or Classic Challenges, do you agree? I am trying to improve quickly. Thanks

Yeah, Classic and Grand challenges are probably by far the best way to spend your gems. You can practice using all sorts of decks in these challenges and practice getting better, like understanding a lot of interactions. On top of all that, after you get 12 wins, or 3 losses, you get a nice chest. (Keep in mind that the chest gives you more the more wins you have. So if you get like 1 win, then you won't get a lot of rewards)

The best way to spend gems is definitely on Classic Challenges and Grand Challenges. But for now, I suggest you start with Classic Challenges.

Grand Challenges are much harder and in your case, you can only play one. 

So start with Classic Challenges, and when you feel very comfortable, you can test one out if you're willing to spend 100 gems. 

Another way to improve is to play cycle decks. I know this may be very hard at first, but you'll get used to it. If 10 gems isn't too much for you, you can consider playing 2.6 Hog. It's a ver good deck to increase skill. 

And if you can, don't upgrade everything to level 8 and above. Right now, all tournaments are set at level 11. So even if you have a level 1 Tesla, you'll still be able to use a level 11 one in tournaments. What you should do is just upgrade the cards that you want in your deck, and upgrade the cards that work well with LavaHound. You may not be experiencing it a big degree yet, but gold runs out QUICKLY, when you start getting higher level troops.

Yeah, gold becomes the most valuable resource when trying to max out your deck. Even more so than gems sometimes

But, I don't suggest doing that. You're better off getting gold from Clan Wars and Challenges.

if you want to try other decks that doesn't include lava hound, then you can do classic challenge, otherwise the best way to spend gems is by far saving till 500 and getting the rewards after a global tournament

If I could spend some money on the game I would definitely buy it. Only 5 bucks and I can afford it. 

it also gives you a royal wild chest I'm pretty sure

however, if you do have 5 dollars to spend you should do it on the season pass cause you get so much more value than just an emote

the sad thing about this emote is that it's limited and if I saved up my gems I actually would've been close to getting
