Hello! I'm not a very strong player but here is my opinion. I find puzzles very useful, but only if they are from real games. I find compositions more difficult to solve, so maybe for that reason I enjoy them less.
The endgame studies seem more useful to me.
As far as the mate compositions, I always fail to solve them, mainly because I can't never find the best defence, I'd say they are of less real practical use then the one from real games, but maybe I'm wrong.
