I haven't actually seen anything scary except in one of my Minecraft worlds I named Kill_Dem_All I saw a sort of black entity. But it was the size of a player from what I could tell as I was in a swamp at the time of the occurrence.

no i dont feel like somethign is following/watching me i know something is and the only reason im not removing that thing from existence is because i have spent months grinding so i just let it vibe plus it know not to mess with me because i have full enchanted god netherite armor and a god netherite axe lol

java also once i saw like mix between just a black entity and a glitched steve for like half of a second but i can probs kill easily

also the thing better not corrupt my world or we gonna have seroius beef
