Why is ancient city loot so OP!?

it has the most powerful mob in the game protecting it, so the loot has to be good. this was probably what everyone thought when bastions first came out in 1.16 lol

dang, those are pretty OP loot items, but it makes sense for there to be at least some incentive to try and sneak around the most powerful and scary mob in the game.

I mean I made a wool farm with my friend so that we can just place wool literally everyone we walk so nothing bad would happen. we could open at least 4 chests before we got one to spawn and then we just pearl away or follow the wool path(it cant smell you after you get a certain distance away)

A warden killed me when I was trying to destroy the shreikers, forgot to sneak trying to get away and got into a fight I did not want to be in
this is survival
