are there still WSCF tournaments or are they all canceled due to COVID 19

can we have some live tournaments in this club?

If you are interested in participating, please let me know what dates do/don't work for you for an in-club tournament.

The Wisconsin Warhawks team (affiliated with WSCF) is still looking for players who are interested in playing in the Raburn Chess League. A blitz rating of 1200+ is needed in order for a chance to be on one of the four boards, with the four highest rated players as of May 18th making the team while the others are welcome to join another team or be a sub. If we get at least two more players interested by May 11th we can form a Wisconsin Warhawks B-team. Time control is 10|2, with blitz ratings being listed on the official list of teams. Match dates are June 4th, June 11th, June 18th, June 25th, July 9th, and July 13th, with all times 7-9pm except for the 13th, which will be from 1-4pm. Playoffs will follow. Adults are welcome and encouraged to play. Please get back to me ASAP and join the club at the link above if you are interested or want more information.
