These sets are not very playable, I haven't even tried. The one set I opened, it is much more fun to use the pieces as action figures. Sometimes I use the "red" pieces to "attack" a model of the Capitol that I have.
With the tumultuous year we just had, I was able to sell one of the sets for U.S. $800, isn't that a riot?

A friend of mine has the complete set. But he noticed a big flaw right away. The borders are made out of very cheap material, they are very porous. So they deteriorated very quickly, making the entire playing set unplayable and basically worthless. But he insisted that this was somehow an advantage to the blue pieces.
I'm not surprised you were able to sell one of the sets for $800. He said much the same thing. At this rate only the very rich will be able to afford even an average or low quality set.
Yeah, you could see one of these sets at a garage sale like the skeptical haters said, if it's Bill Gates' garage!
And they laughed at me .... laughed at me!!! for investing in these sets!

Very few of these sets were minted to begin with, and most were re-melted into recyclable plastic before the craze hit the market!
