Thank you. How is the weight of the pieces? I tend to like chessmen with some weight.

This set costed me about 140$
I would certainly consider the CB version: https://www.chessbazaar.com/offers-zone/backorder/tournament-series-staunton-chess-pieces-with-german-knight-in-sheesham-box-wood-3-king.html

Out of stock so you could try this: https://www.chessbazaar.com/offers-zone/backorder/tournament-series-staunton-chess-pieces-with-german-knight-in-ebonized-boxwood-box-wood-3-king.html or https://www.niggemann.com/en/chessmen-classic-staunton-17532.html or https://www.polishchess.com/german-staunton-acaciaboxwood-chess-pieces-3-75-single-queen-p-1455.html
Hope I could help.

Man I love DGT boards e- and non-e boards.
To partially answer the OPs question, I own a 3.25" version of the HoS Grandmaster series in golden rosewood. I use it on my 14" board and I really like it for analysis. It is very simple and works well for my analysis needs. The quality is reasonable. There were issues with many of the pieces when I received the set from HoS, but as always the HoS customer service department did not fuss too much over replacements. I receive all replacements. It took a few tries before all of the replacement pieces were satisfactory but eventually all were fine. The golden rosewood is more "rough" than say Ebony or African Padauk but it is still fine. I prefer Ebony above all else.
I'm looking to buy a nice wooden tournament chess set and both DGT (non-electronic) and several House of Staunton chess sets (e.g., the Grandmaster one) fit the bill. Does anyone here have experience with both and can chime in on whether one is better than the other in terms of quality?
Thank you in advance.
