I've had the pleasure of ordering from HoS couple of times. Every time I'm charged 21% on customs clearance. That is 21% of (value + shipping cost).

I started looking for a tournament wodden chess sets on House of Staunton. Usually sets going for higher than 300 dollars have high costs of shipping. However I saw that the site offers free shipping. What was your experience with international free shipping? Did you have any extra costs?
