Hi,
does anybody know why Natalia participates in the Grand Prix? According to the official documents, the 4 semi-finalists of the WC 2015, the 10 highest rated players, 2 FIDE nominees and 1 player nominetad by each city shuld participate. That makes 16 players but until now, 17 have played.
Natalia is the one who doesn't fall under the above conditions, the two FIDE nominees are Stefanova and Kosteniuk, the city nominees are Khademalsharieh, Skripchenko, Batsiashvili and Zhao.
I wasn't able to find anything about this.
