On a more related note to the questioner, I am asking the same question. I think we all are. What is even worse, is when you could have won a queen (or checkmated or minor piece etc.) but then you realize you don't have a working brain.

In blitz, you have much lesser time to think before you make a move, hence it is very easy to miscalculate and make blunders. You may also miss out good opportunities to win the game.

because blitz does not  have enough time to think rather than rapid you can have enough time to focus on the game another fact is time pressure many people blunder because of time pressure and lack of focus because others are concern on the time.
