Is 1550 a good rating?
Sort:
YES
When u cross the rating level of 1000 people call u an intermediate player and when u cross 1600 rating people call u advanced player
And 1550 rating is way better than mine( I have 566 at the moment

Don’t listen to him. To me 1550 is bad 😉. Rating is subjective. However, 1550 is quite a bit above average. Probably around 70th percentile. Especially since your account is 1.5 years old you are doing well.

Whoops. I just checked. Your rating is 95.2 percentile. Very good compared to the average. Compared to me, or Magnus Carlsen... not so much

It's all relative. Compared to most, yes. Compared to yourself in 3 years if you stick with it and continue to learn the game? Probably not.

Thanks for being the one to say it. I checked it out and it raised red flags too. 90% plus accuracy almost every game and a 70% winrate...yeah. And then in games toward the bottom of the match history he has 25% accuracy and gets dominated.

Again, if I were cheating why, like completely why, would I go to that much trouble analyzing and learning from my game. I was playing super well that day last week. My opponent (Sho) scored a higher accuracy than I did. Yesterday we played again. I scored 81% he scored 99%. Is he a cheater? If I cheated my account would be closed. I have suspected 4 people ever for cheating. I reported all 4 of them. The first 3 had their accounts closed. The 4th one was just yesterday and I fully expect his to be closed soon. Chess.com has super good cheat detections system, and my account isn't closed (meaning I'm not cheating). Anyways, in b4 da lock
Right now I am rated a little under 1550 in rapid chess with over 650 games played. I'm still slowly gaining more rating points. I wanted to know if that is actually good. Am I an intermediate, advanced (or something else) player?
