If you are looking for sympathy, I’m reasonably sure your complaint is not a qualifying disability. Stuck at 2700? Nice one.

i'm not being sarcastic. I'm looking for a few tips or something. If you grind puzzles enough, its not that hard to get to 2700. I am truly stuck at 2700.

To get 2700 ,you have to get premium, which is annoying

Your puzzle rating is insanely high for your rating. I'm 2000+ in bullet/blitz/rapid and I struggled to hit 2800 puzzle rating.

If anything, I'd suggest working on other parts of your game at this point.

I'm not good enough to get 2700 with premium ...

But a basic member could get there, if they consistently did their puzzles every day and were good enough at them. It would take a while but it would be possible.

I’m under 400 in Bullet, and 540 in Blitz, but my puzzle rating is 1400. I think I’ll break 900 in daily one of these days.

That's a bit more reasonable. Being almost 600 blitz / 800 rapid rating with a puzzle rating of 1400 is what I'd expect.

On the other hand, being 1500 blitz and 2700 puzzle rating is not normal. If you were that good at puzzles, you'd think it would carry over to your real games.

At my peak here my tactics rating was in the 2730's  You know how much it helped me in OTB tournaments?  It didn't.  There is a huge difference between memorizing puzzles, and knowing how to create tactics in your games.

the reason why they are much lower is because I always get myself into sticky situations where my position is just bad. It is not because of tactical errors. It is because of positional errors. Most of the time in those kind of positions, there are no tactical ideas. Do you know any good resources for positional play?

You can learn a lot just by watching games of titled players and seeing how they do it.

Just looking over your most recent game where you pulled a draw against a 1600, I think your biggest issue is about trades. Knowing when to trade pieces and when to reject a trade.

As a general rule, you want to avoid trades when:

1. You're the attacking side

2. You have a space advantage

3. Your pieces are better placed than your opponent's pieces

4. You're down material

In your most recent game, you made a lot of bad trades, which cost you the win and made you have to settle for a draw.

What about 2000 for ~1700-1740.

This was the game I was talking about (on my phone so I'll just share the link): https://www.chess.com/live/game/6003651326

With 1500 blitz and 1700 rapid, you can probably get 2200-2300 puzzle rating.

I'd slow down and focus on accuracy rather than speed.

Yeah probably. Also I don't play much blitz because I suck in low time formats.
