Does anyone know if this book is a subset of the combinations in CT-ART4.0?

Is this book aimed at lower level players?

Thanks

Steve

Thanks notmtwain. I saw that. It tells me that CT-ART has many more positions than 600 Combinations, but not if those in 600 Combinations are a subset of those in CT-ART. Or, if not, if they are at a lower level.

There was a comment that CT-Art 3 was based in part on Blokh's work.

CT-ART is based on Blokh’s most famous book, Combination Motifs. From a private message I got it seems that 600 Combinations is a subset of Combination Motifs. So it seems that if you have CT-ART there is no point in getting 600 Combinations.

I understand that 6.0 includes everything in 4.0 plus quite a lot of extra stuff. Much of this is for beginners or lower-rated players, but not all.

I have got 600 combination and CT-ART. It’s better to solve 600 combinations at first because the problems are easier. I think they are essential for future progress. After that I began to understand chess positions better.

I have a copy of this in brand new condition. Please feel free to message me if you are interested in acquiring it.
