Appreciate the reply.
Maybe my post was too brief.
I'm looking to invest in a something small enough to hold in one hand,to go in a trouser pocket and large enough to be viewable as a way of continuing tactics training and so on,whilst travelling around on municipal transport without needing to open up a netbook during the rush hour travel, or to be dependent on internet connection.Something just for training,as opposed to playing games.I have game playing apps and software available.
Read up here and on a few other forums about what was currently available, suggestions about software and the reviews so i'm looking to decide whether to invest in a reasonable PDA/pocket pc ,as mentioned,or wait for a iPod Touch application to be released if someone is doing one dedicated specifically for tactics and endings? Someone posted a pocket pc software overview and i've seen Palm z22,Palm Zire mentioned as good for running chess training software.
Thanks.
Hi,
would anyone with experience of using a pocket pc to run the various pocket software tools by Convekta e.g. pocket Chess Endings,or pocket CT-ART 3.0 suggest some reasonably priced phones that i could use?
I'm looking for something i can dedicate solely to using the chess training software,as i already have a phone.
I saw a secondhand MDA Vario for £48 today, which might be suitable? Also heard mention of Palm Z22.
Thanks in advance.
