Thinking a little more, OCR may not work well, maybe some limited handwriting recognition.
Anyway, I can't seem to find anything.
Does anybody know of one?

Seems like a useful app to have at tournaments.
Maybe chess is just not popular enough for people to write something like this (I mean, chess isn't all that popular and then only a subset plays OTB, and then only a subset of that subset play tournaments where score keeping is done).
Maybe I'll write this app (it'll be free and without ads of course). Seems not too difficult; but then the devil is in the details in these things (yes, I never learn.)
Well, it might not work for you then : )
Fortunately, my son's score sheets are very much more readable.
I write these little apps just for my own use (and make them available free to the public). So there is no requirements other than what I personally require.
I did some testing using an OCR library and it actually worked kind of OK; i.e., can recognize a lot of the image. I think this project might be a lot easier than I initially thought. But yeah, yeah, I know, the devil is always in the details.
Anyway, I think I may actually have something where I can snap a pic of score sheet and out comes a PGN in the email : )
Is there any OCR phone app to convert a picture of a score sheet into a PGN? (Prefer phone app since the phone already has built-in camera; but if there isn't something for the phone, then computer will do). Preferably free and with no ads.
Does anybody know of one?
Thanks!
