I decided to search fo some of the old issues and stumbled on the entire archive in .pdf format. Available at no cost. Enjoy!

OOPS, it goes back to 1946

Another correction, the chess review part goes back to 1933!

This is a very useful resource. Makes me wonder why I have all my magazines going back to 1973.  I did have some issues with trying to print pages from the PDF.  I was wondering if anyone else tried this, and if you had any success.

I have not tried to print from .pdf yet, but likely will soon. If a problem occurs I’ll let you know.

Yes.  I have downloaded/printed content from those archives.  However the print function/servers are EXTREMELY slow.  You just have to wait.  The content will download/print eventually.

Thanks Russ.  The content I tried to print did not come out in a useable format.  It could be the particular issue I was referencing or some other technical or user error.

If you haven't done this, I would recommend to first download the pdf file to your computer, then open the file and print it with Adobe Acrobat.

Thanks for the heads up. Luckily I can still read English descriptive notation for those older editions.
