Well, I guess I should finish The King in Jeopardy, and then work through the pages of the other 2 books shown on Amazon to see how they compare. And who knows. Maybe The King in Jeopardy will make me as strong as I need.
"Attack with Mikhail Tal" vs "Art of Attack in Chess"
He gives examples of numerous attacking themes, each featured in a game, very anotated with variations, some of which need an extra chess board. I'm able to understand it. Too early to say if it will help me, but I suspect so. I started game 2 of like 45 and ordered an extra board.
What are the differences between the 2 books?
I read that Art of Attack in Chess is well reviewed and is a bigger book with plenty of examples. Attack with Mikhail Tal is a step by step on how to look for whether or not an attack is likely to work and how to conduct them. This is just what I gleaned from Amazon reviews.
I'm currently working through Lev Alburt's The King in Jepardy and finished "Your First Chess Games"
Should I buy both books or just one to do after "The King in Jepardy"? And what are the main differences?
Thanks.
