Hello im looking for an iphone app that lets me analyze games and gives me better moves than the ones made like chess base for pc. The best apps ive foud have been hiarcs, chessbase and shredder but i havent used them because they are very expensive and i dont want to buy all of them. Wich one do you think I can use to input my games and analyze the moves and to get recomended moves. thanks

Hi, they will all give you best moves etc., but the only one, that I know of, that lets you add annotations in a basic form is TChess pro.

The free Stockfish ( I think its free Undecided) is also good for analyzing games.

I hope this helps, there is a thread on here somewhere on this subject but  am not sure where.

Good luck.

Stockfish is good and its free

I would say that Shredder does the best analysis and can show you the key blunders or best moves whereas Stockfish won't do that so it's worth the money!

Try Chessis. It has most of the features for free and if you want all the features it is a one time payment of around 5 dollars

It has free analysis, and there is a Why Blunder? feature which let's you see why it was a blunder so you never make the same blunder again. (there is also this feature for mistakes). You can even retry your mistakes/blunders while playing against a bot or while analyzing. There are also key elements and threats settings which helps with your board vision.
