Board/Set Recommendations?

Hey all.

I'm looking for an elegant looking set for my home, and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations.

I'd like for it to be wooden, and definitely under $200.  I'm looking for black pieces as opposed to red, etc.  Also, I want knights that actually look like pieces that would attack something.  I hate the goofy-looking cartoon knight pieces.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Although the Knight looks a bit like it's on crack.

What's an example of a goofy cartoon knight?

I've seen worse, but this would qualify, I think:  http://www.chesssets.com/chess-pieces/staunton-pieces/tournamentwalnutstauntonchesspieces.cfm

It looks like he's going to hop up to you and lick you in the face moreso than rip you limb from limb Wink

Thanks!  That second one's not bad.  You're right about the Knight, though.

Anyone have any experience with this particular set?

The House of Staunton is your best bet for an elegant set, and believe it or not, not at an outlandish price.  Check 'em out...

Thanks, Zug.  That's the route I ended up going, actually:
