Take up mastering the chess openings it's more into teaching u how to play the game after the opening (strategy) than the opening itself thats good to begin with then take up Giants of strategy. But then it all boils down to whether you can apply their ideas into your game so it means it's all dependant on your mind not on what you learnt.
P.S: Sorry i forget their authors (I never payed much attention to names.)
What's a good book on strategy for someone ranked 1400? Silman's "Amateur's mind" ? Seirawan's "Chess strategies"? Too hard? Thanks for advice.
