I've heard they are very good. Unfortunately, they are not so easy to obtain in the UK, i.e. through Amazon - ordering stuff from North America by conventional routes is hassley and expensive.
Books by Jeff Coakley

These books are supposed to be amazing. I am hearing that the "Exercises" book should wait for minimum of USCF 1600+. The term "for Kids" is really a misnomer, unless your kid is Magnus Carlsen.

I'm ECF 90, ~1400 USCF. I read Chess Strategy for Kids based on Dan Heisman's recommendations. I really liked it - I actually read it cover to cover!
The presentation is "kid friendly", i.e. split into small, easily digestible chunks, but the material is solid chess, covering some tactics as well as strategy. I learned a lot.
I'm a fan of GM Seirawan's books, but personally preferred this to GM Seirawan's "Winning Chess Stragies".

What rating range are these books recommended for? I have also heard alot of positive things about them...
What do you think of the following four books by Coakley, and in what order should they be read? I heard they are for adults too.
