chess assistant-aquarium or chessbase for analysing games?

What's the best? Pro and Cons?

Chessbase is recognized as the choice of professionals. However it's pretty expensive. Plus they come out with a new version every other year. To overcome that I buy two versions back on ebay. Chessassistant has not had an update to the actual program in many years (they just update the databases each year).  If you are interested in comparing with Aquarium vs CB I would say Fritz 16 would be the way to go. I have found it much easier to learn than Aquarium 2018.  The last two versions of Aquarium have just been bug fixes mainly. Check out the Tactical Analysis that The new Fritz 16 can do...
