Have you guys seen this rare chess board? I found it here http://www.ebay.com/itm/161297409050 today. Well, ususally they go for 4,000.00 but this ones under 1k. Can anyone loan me the money?

Saying they go for $4000 or asking $4000 is not the same as going for $4000. A quick google turns up plenty of malachite chessboards for much less:

Personally, I wouldn't pay even $10 for one. This kind of board does nothing for me.

Your incorrect sir, the chess boards you've mentioned are very small at 7" by 7" and a quarter of a inch thick. The specifics of the board I want is 3 times the size of yours at a whopping 24" by 24" and 1" thick. Do you see the difference? Malachite is a precious gem stone similar to torquoise as you can see fancy women with amazing jewlery made out of these precious gem stones. You haven't posted any boards the same as the one in my orignal post which concurs with this board being very rare and expensive.

True, I didn't find any 24-inch boards but then I didn't spend long looking, but by the same token neither you nor the seller has provided any evidence that the board is "very rare and expensive" and worth $4000. (And why would he sell it for 20 per cent or less of its value?) I note that the same seller (who has zero Ebay feedback) is also selling a seven-inch across, quarter-inch thick board that he claims is worth $600:

However, this looks to be the same as the second one I linked to and is also the same as (or very close to) a board that got no bidders for $51:

Based on this, I think that the values he claims for his boards are inflated. But maybe that's just my suspicious nature – I tend not to accept seller's valuations without independent corroboration.

Having said that, if you would pay $800 for the board, then the board is worth $800 to you, and that's all that matters.

PS. Maybe it's just me being suspicious again, but you wouldn't happen to be the seller would you? You joined chess.com only in the last few days and have so far posted only a link to this auction, which does make me wonder.
