Chess Books Written in Italian

Can anyone recommend any good chess books published in Italian?  I'm looking to kill two birds with one stone--improve my chess game while improving my Italian langauge skills.

I'm not so much concerned about topical subject matter (openings, middle game, etc.), just that the books are worth reading and can be read (with assistance, if needed) by someone with an intermediate-level Italian reading comprehension.

Ideally, the books were initially authored in Italian, but I'll accept translations as well.

Any and all suggestions welcome--including where to purchase said books online.

Grazie mille,

here are two links to italian chess book publishers, some books are translations of english books but others are written by italian authors, you just have to spend some time browsing.

I'm Portuguese, I don't speaking Italian But I read without problems Italian chess books, maybe my "Latin rib" .

In my library I have 4 wonderful books. One is a classic of Kasparov, the other 3,  of an Italian publishing house highly specialized in chess: Prisma Editori. Are books of Russian authors on great players of the past, but with a lot of translation quality (always the same translator) because it's from someone who know chess: Fabio Molin.

"including where to purchase said books online" . Well, the Lasker book, very, very dificult to find, the others I think that they will be available in one of the best Chess shop in Europe - World

I have a few books by Rodolfo Pardi (in English translation). They are originally written in Italian, and are very reasonably priced in ebook format on Amazon. Italian language editions are available, and some of his books are only in Italian.

If your interest also includes the history of chess, I would recommend:

"Storia degli Scacchi in Italia" by Adriano Chicco e Adriano Rosino.
