I've read How to Choose A Chess Move. I think that it's a good attempt to explain some difficult concepts, so that they are easier to follow. Alexander Kotov's Think Like a Grandmaster and Jonathan Tisdall's Improve Your Chess Now are other useful books on this topic.
there are this chess book that really help me and that is an endgame study book, it called silman's complete endgame course, it have everything from unrated to master
