Chess fonts for winword

Hi everyone.

I need to write some notes for me and also create some chessboard positions on a winword file. I know it is possible in winword by selecting a particular font, but I cannot find any.

Any hint about where to find/download them and how to install it on winword is highly appreciated.

Ignore the spammer in #4 and his crappy fonts. Thanks sound67, excellent timing as I had been thinking about this recently.

During the Covid lockdown I decided to learn how to make chess fonts and here is what I made.

I have no idea how you can use these as a chess diagram because I just use them with Arena and Winboard

1. Design your chess pieces with MS Paint as pgn files. 

2. Convert your pgn piece images into svg files with https://www.aconvert.com/

3. Use Glyphr Studio to convert your svg files into fonts. http://www.glyphrstudio.com/

After importing all your svg piece files ( K will be the white king and k will be the black king ) then export them using a name of your choice for your new font. Once they have been saved to your computer just double click on them and they will automatically be installed into Windows ready for you to use.

4. Go into a text editor like Notepad and select your new font and test to see if it works.
