After some web searching, I think this might be the 1950s "Latvian" style.
Chess set in finale of Queen's Gambit?

This one looks nearly identical: https://www.bonanza.com/listings/The-1950s-Soviet-Russian-Latvian-Reproduced-Chess-Set-in-Ebonized-Boxwood-Na/818550991

We discussed that here:

This is as close as it gets.

I know this set. I played in tournaments with pieces like this. Here are a few cutouts from my tournament photos:

One of the first Soviet sets I picked up.
Where'd you get from? Could you provide a link?

I went to etsy.com and found it under Soviet Chess.

I love the set shown in the final tournament seen in The Queen's Gambit on Netflix. Anybody know which set it is? Looks to me similar to a Russian or Zagreb style. I like how slender and elegant the tall pieces seem as well as the sturdiness of the rook.

It's a later version of what the Soviet set collectors call the "Latvian set". But the prices on the vintage Soviet clocks they used in the series are going insane lol. It is just like the one I picked up in this pic with my original Soviet era 1940 Carbolite set.

The edging is similar to the ones by Mark of Westminster ... https://www.chessusa.com/product/3C-604.html

The knights are different, as are the rocks. I'm just rewatching the final episode, and it appears they're using a later, rather simple original and not one of the reproductions. The knights eg look more crude than on any of the reproductions I've seen, and the rooks have no cuts in the turrets. The pieces are lacquered.
I just grabbed the set Same knights. It is known as a later "Latvian style" set by us Soviet era set collectors.
