Chessbase app for android vanished

Hi guys,

I accidentally deleted the Chessbase android app on my phone today. I went to reinstall it immediately and I can't find it on the Goggle Play store any more.  Has it been taken off the market? I know this isn't really the right place to ask, but I can't find any information anywhere else (not even on the Chessbase website), so I just wondered if anyone here knew anything about this. Many thanks!

Still on my phone and working, but not visible in store. Hopefully just temporarily - that's the most expensive app I own happy.png

Maybe it's now part of https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=chessbase.android.playchess

I've noticed that as well. I have also bought the app, but fortunately I still have it on my phone. I have no idea why the app was removed from the Google play store though. I think it's unfair to all the people who have purchased the app.

I still have it on my Android phone, I checked now. I haven't used it for months.

Of course you have it. The app is removed from the app store, not from your/our personal phone. The problem is, once you unisntall it, you won't be able to download it again.

You are right. It's no longer on the the play store. Good thing I still have it on my phone.

OP here. I emailed Chessbase and they've replied to say that the app is down for repairs and will be unavailable to download from Google Play for a while. It will, however, return in the future.

Thanks. Good to know.

Hey guys - I am having this issue now. Any idea if the fix is planned?
