ChessBase Or Chess Assistant

Which database do you use?

I've always been a chessbase user however I'm sure there are several people out there that prefer chess assistant for their game recording / opening study / analysis needs.

I've never tried chess assistant, the main reason I started using chessbase was because it was the most popular one at the time (probably still is) and by trialing it with chessbase light (free version) I was impressed by its functionality.

I now use chessbase 9 and looking at upgrading to 10 in the near future.

Does chessbase have analysis features? Because I'm considering whether to get chess assistant or chessbase.

No--unless you have a chess engine, such as a Rybka or Fritz 9-11.  Its emperical to have fritz or chess engine to anaylze chess data
