Thanks for the tip with the Kiwi browser. I will check, if I can optimize Chessconnect for this setup. Lichess is currently being worked on!

@joernupbde - thanks for the update. It's working great!
One more request from me:
In chess.com's analysis mode, it would be excellent if moving pieces from both players could be registered. For instance, at the moment, if I "have" the white pieces in the analysis mode, then when I move a black piece after my turn, the PRO board LEDs light up indicating that the piece is on the "wrong" square rather than the move being communicated to chess.com.
I know this might be a relatively minor priority, but I was hoping to use the PRO board in some of my videos of game analyses, and having the video of me using the PRO and the screen capture of the chess.com analysis board be automatically synchronised.
Cheers!
...and done. I just uploaded Version 0.0.2.2 to the web store. Here is the (rather short) changelog:
Note that it usually takes a day or two for Google to validate my uploads.
Never mind. Google was really quick this time. 0.0.2.2 has been validated and is being rolled out. 🥳
Since I had quite a few requests for this: the next version is most likely going to work on Lichess, too. Keep your fingers crossed that I am not going to encounter any unforeseen obstacles. 🤞

Outstanding.
Are you working with their knowledge so it does not get flagged for cheating?
Lichess has an official API for smartboards which I am using. There are also some rules, how this is to be used.
Nevertheless, it is probably a good idea to make Chessconnect known to them, once I have a working version. Thanks, @Rsava for bringing this up. 👍
I just released version . The connect button is now integrateVersion 120.0.6099.129 (Official Build) (64-bit)d more nicely into chess.com page. However, in focus mode it is now hidden. Please let me know, if this is a problem. I will try and come up with a solution then.
Hello. Just for info concerning Linux usage, i installed the chrome extension no problems and i do get the "connect" button (it appears on the left hand side of the display", but it does not connect with my Chessnut Air, no dialog or error messages neither. My setup is Steam dech so basically Arch Linux.
Are there any news on this? I'm using Arch Linux on my desktop pc and have the same issues.
Chrome Version 120.0.6099.129 (Official Build) (64-bit)
No errors in "manage your extensions".
I still have to look into this. To this others out there: does this happen with other Linux distros, too? Or is it specific to Arch Linux?
For those with Arch Linux and all others who experience the problem with Bluetooth dialog not opening after click on "Connect". I just released version 0.0.2.4 which does some extra checks and gives a warning, if Bluetooth LE is not available in your Chrome browser.
There are two messages:
'This Browser does not support the Web Bluetooth API.' means Bluetooth Web API is not available in your browser. So, that is what you should be looking into.
'Bluetooth LE is not available on this device.' means the API is present but it reports that there is no Bluetooth LE adapter in your system.
Thank you. For those with the same problems: I had to set the flag chrome://flags/#enable-web-bluetooth .
Now I get an error 'br-connection-profile-unavailable' but that seems to be an error on my system rather than chrome or chessconnect.
i need all sorts of help here...the connection drops all the time, my moves never register, i dont know where to find saved games that i play over the board... basically im starting to regret buying the chessnut air, but im definitely not convinced I'M not the problem . HELP!
nykaza, is your issue with the Chessconnect chrome extension, or with the Chessnut board and its' software? Does the board work with the Chessnut software and app?

The next release is going to be a big one. I know have USB-support for Chessnut and I am working on integrating two more board manufacturers. Plus Lichess. But it's going to take a while longer. There is lots of testing to do.
If anybody is willing to do some beta testing, let me know.
Just to keep all of you informed. Version 3.0beta has been delivered to the beta testers. So far, feedback has been very positive. I expect to do the final release at the end of this month. Here is the finalized list of new features (plus a lot of minor ones not worth mentioning):
Great extension, I was about to give up on my Pro because of lag issues with the chessnut app (on lichess) but it plays like a dream with chessconnect, what a relief! I installed it in the Kiwi browser on my mobile, using PC view mode and zooming out to see the connect button. (Hopefully there's a lichess version in the future.)
