Isn't the paid membership only about 30 bucks a year? Why not just pay for a year? Besides, isn't it just like chess mentor, anyway?
chessmagnetschool.com

I looked at that site. It is pretty good, and the price is reasonable, especially by the year. You can also get an extra 30 days for $6.95 and 3 months for $15 if you don't want to go for the entire year.

Just like Chess mentor, I don't think so, but judge for yourself, the 30 day demo is free to download and try.

Magnet is good. I did most of my work there in the 30 free trial. At its end I enrolled for a year. Magnet has its own virtues. I my view it falls far short of Mentor which provides us with a vibrant international chess community. Just 3 trial lessons at Mentor convinced me to enroll for a year. There is a vast difference between Magnet and Mentor. If I were limited to just one online training program it would certainly be Chess Mentor.
I am enjoying a 30 day free trial of instructions at chessmagnetschool.com and am considering extending the lessons beyond the free period. Unfortunately, these lessons are not available for further study and/or review once the paid membership expires. Does anyone know of a computer program similar to this that one can purchase?
