That is a charming set. The proportions of the pieces are correct to scale. Love it
I have always liked the look of those sets. They are hideously expensive unfortunately.
The site claims the products are made in the USA.
And remember, the ChessMate Ultima is handmade in the USA. PLEASE NOTE: All Thinket and ChessMate products are handmade to fill each customer order, and there is a workshop queue by order-date.
Has anyone confirmed this statement with the company? The wood chess pieces are also handmade in the USA to order? If YES, the price is 100% reasonable in my opinion.
