Chessup and the app

I am very interested in getting the Chessup but upon reading reviews it seems the app is pretty bad.  Does anybody know if the Chessup will work with the White Pawn app?

One of the reasons I want the Chessup is that it seems to combine the DGT Centaur and the DGT Pegasus into one electronic board.  That would be awesome for when I travel!

If traveling is one of your main things I would look into the Chessnut Air as well.  It's a little smaller and it's currently the best board out there.  After that I would also consider the millenium e-one which is even smaller and it's the smallest of the e-boards and probably the most suitable for travel.  But it's not as good as the chessnut air or chessup.

Traveling is only part of it.  I love using my Centaur to practice but also like to play live games.  I like that the Chessup appears to have an adaptive AI built into it so I can bring only one set with me for both activities.  Very convenient.

It does not have an "adaptive AI", although the website claims to have one. I have the ChessUp for a couple of days now and, unfortunately, the app is quite unstable and buggy. I hope they will get it sorted out.

If you are playing online players, go with the ChessNut Air. It is much more Robust and diverse in its online play and coverage.

I own both ChessNut and ChessUp. ChessNut receives much more play. My ChessUp is only used to playing against less capable player OTB. It's used without the app because of bugs and past frustrations.

Chess up is descent a mean its not bad, but I think Chess nut is better.

Chessup board is very good, I really like it
